Privacy policy

Operator: Postrider. Country of operation: Bangladesh.

This policy describes information processed when you visit Postrider or use its API workspace.

Information you provide

If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. Contact submissions are delivered through our configured email delivery provider.

GitHub and workspace data

If you connect GitHub, Postrider uses the authorization you grant to read and write the repositories you select and to display account details. OAuth session data is handled through NextAuth. A personal access token you enter is stored in your browser’s local storage. Request and environment files are saved to your selected GitHub repository; Postrider does not operate a separate collection database.

Requests sent using the server-side proxy pass through the Postrider server and are forwarded to the target URL. Avoid sending credentials or sensitive data unless you understand that processing path.

Analytics and security

The site loads Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Public pages and the /app workspace also use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits. Workspace page views use a fixed page title rather than request or collection names. Google Analytics may use cookies and process device and usage information. Our manually sent page views omit URL query strings and fragments; workspace request contents and GitHub credentials are not included in those events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Contact form submissions also use rate limiting and spam checks; the configured providers may process request metadata such as IP address to provide those services.

Third-party services

GitHub provides authentication and repository access. Vercel provides site hosting and analytics. Google provides Google Analytics. The contact and rate-limit providers are configured by the site operator. Their own policies govern their services.

Retention and choices

You can revoke Postrider’s GitHub access in GitHub settings and remove a locally stored personal access token from the browser. Messages are retained in the support inbox according to the operator’s practices. Contact us to ask about a privacy request.
